		<description>FIOS Webinars Announcements

December 16 - Wednesday

25 and Counting: State e-Discovery Rules Taking Shape

As of September 2009, 25 states have adopted e-discovery procedural rules that reflect the 2006 FRCP amendments and many others are considering changes. In this third annual Fios webcast, Tom Allman, the leading expert on state e-discovery rules, will be interviewed by Mary Mack and provide an update on state-level activities, which continue to be a hotbed of innovation in e-discovery.

REGISTER NOW

 New! January 19 - Tuesday

A Roadmap to e-Disovery Cost Control

In today’s legal marketplace, corporations are focused on lowering the cost of litigation, including demands for alternative fees from their law firms. There are rumblings that e-discovery cost fears have inhibited the typical recession-generated litigation wave. As a result, practitioners are searching for ways to bring cost control and predictability to e-discovery. This webcast will explore the critical paths to cost control in each phase of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), with special emphasis on processing, review and production. Two seasoned e-discovery experts, Chris Gallagher, SVP-Managing Director, Ajilon Legal, and Chris Wilen, Fios Solution Design Architect, will outline best practice trends in data and review management. Corporate lawyers and their outside counsel who want to get e-discovery costs under control will benefit from attending this webcast.

		<description>Dear Michele:

If you scroll back up this page, there are several Concordance training resources listed on it:

Concordance
 http://law.lexisnexis.com/concordance/certification

and if you are unemployed, and can&#039;t pay for training, Concordance offers a free download of an earlier version of its program and a free manual at:

Concordance
 http://law.lexisnexis.com/concordance/free-training

Concordance also has all kinds of self-teaching manuals for sale.

In addition (not listed on this page), there is a DVD -- pricey, but useful -- that you can buy, which teaches Concordance slowly, and via pictures, at:

http://www.aplcs.com/

It teaches the 2007 version, but that would be sufficient to get you started.

If none of these resources work, go to Google, and input &quot;Concordance manual&quot; or &quot;Concordance book&quot; or &quot;Concordance training,&quot; and other books and resources will pop up.

Cordially,
